Retrospective of Q4 2019 and Planning for Q1 in 2020

Updated: Nov 22, 2020

Summary of Q4 in 2019

The beginning of the year is a great time to inspect and adapt. Based on that let's see what has happened since the start of the learning journey.

Stats

Duration: 13 weeks (from October till December)

Number of Pomodoros since starting the mission: 302 👍

Average study time per week: 23 Pomodoros -> 9.5 hours

Total number of agile degree flashcards: 1088

Done

  • 30/11/2019 Scaled Professional Scrum

  • 30/10/2019 Professional Scrum Master II

  • 28/10/2019 Professional Agile Leadership I

In Progress

  • Professional Scrum with Kanban

  • Management 3.0 Certificate of Practice

  • PMI-ACP

Impediments

In the last weeks of 2019, I focused on private staff instead of learning. Due to this, I estimate that I lost around 50 Pomodoros.

Plan for Q1 in 2020

Duration: 13 weeks (from January till March)

Planned number of Pomodoros: 300

Planned average study time per week: 23 Pomodoros -> 9.5 hours

Planned total number of agile degree flashcards: 2000

As the knowledge gained in Q4 in 2019 is relatively new I expect that some time would be spent to maintain the current level of my knowledge and on top of that I have to refactor a few flashcards as time shows that not all is perfect. Besides that, I will focus this quarter on the following certificates:

  • Professional Scrum with Kanban

  • Management 3.0 Certificate of Practice

  • PMI-ACP
